Channel 11 Viewers Help Save Dog Attacked By Pit Bull

PENNSYLVANIA -- A dog that was attacked by a loose pit bull in Braddock on Monday night was saved, thanks in part to Channel 11 News viewers.

Belinda Stevenson said she was walking Scooter the Chihuahua along Holland Avenue when a pit bull got loose and bit her dog on the neck.

Stevenson said she was able to get the dog to the veterinarian but was unable to pay for the dog's care. After the story aired, several viewers called in to help.
