MARYLAND -- The Carroll County Health Department is searching for a large pit bull that bit a person Wednesday and is asking for the public’s help.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Hook Road and Singer Drive, according to a health department news release.
The dog has a multi-shade brown coat.
The victim will have to be treated with a series of rabies shots if the dog is not found and deemed to be in good health by Aug. 9, according to the health department.
