A pointer will point when hunting birds, a Labrador retriever will retrieve birds and a border collie will herd livestock.
The desire to 'point' is instinctive to Pointers |
Border Collies herd livestock, but do not kill them |
I have no patience with an owner who says, after his dog has bitten someone, “My dog has never shown any signs of aggression. He’s always been loving and gentle.”
A pit bull can turn vicious no matter how it is trained or how gentle it seems.

people and more people are speaking out against the crackpots who promote the "it's all how you raise them" garbage.
ReplyDeleteIf raising them had ANYTHING to do with the behavior/performance of bulldogs dogmen would have just raised any dog of any breed to fight. Dogmen have breeding programs that are selective and take their lifetime to build. This is how the dogs have been bred over the lifetimes of many breeders all focused on performance. It's ALL IN HOW YOU BREED THEM.
ReplyDeleteSharks, barracudas, lions, tigers share many of the very same characteristics as their canine equivalent (the pit).
