Florida: Xzavyious Neal, Vanessa Jones, Nova McIntosh, and Clifford Mayfield arrested for animal cruelty, dog fighting
FLORIDA -- Four people were arrested on charges of animal cruelty after a narcotic search warrant led police to caged dogs with wounds consistent with dog fighting.
The suspects were identified as Xzavyious Neal, 34, Vanessa Shane Jones, 21, Nova McIntosh, 22, and Clifford Mayfield.
Police said they found five pit bulls, each with open wounds, in cages without food or water.
Investigators also found drugs and items stolen from Florida Power & Light.
