Stamford Hill Jewish Man Severely Attacked by Loose Illegal Pit bull, Owners Apprehended

UNITED KINGDOM -- A 24 year old Jewish man – a father of one – on the way to his morning prayers, was attacked by an illegal loose pit bull that was roaming the streets.

The attack started at 6:40 this morning when the victim was walking on Holmleigh Road on the way to the Skver Synagogue, when he was attacked by the wild pit bull and thrown to the ground unable to defend himself.

The attack lasted for about seven minutes until a passing heroic truck driver stopped to intervene, and subdued the animal and tied it to a pole, awaiting the arrival of medical assistance and Hackney Borough Police.

The victim suffered significant blood loss from the injuries to his head, face and arms, he was transported by the London Hatzolah Ambulance service to Royal London Trauma Center where he went through a seven-hour procedure to treat his injuries.

He is currently awake and in stable condition recovering from his injuries. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.

After a quick search, Hackney Borough Police detectives apprehended the three owners of the loose dog, who did not possess a license to own the dog, and unlawfully let the dog loose.

Metropolitan Police sources tell JP Updates that all three suspects are still in custody, and are currently being questioned.
