Texas: Reward offered in horrific puppy abuse case

TEXAS -- A reward is being offered to help put a cruel puppy abuser behind bars.

Crime Stoppers is now offering $6,000 for information leading to the suspect.

The man was seen abandoning two boxes at a business in the 7500 block of Monroe last month. He is described as an Hispanic male driving a red pickup truck.

Witnesses found two tortured puppies inside the boxes. One of them later died from chemical burns. Her sister was left burned and blind.

This puppy survived, but is completely blind.

She's being cared for at Pet Paradise Resort where they've named her Noel Justice.

"She is not afraid of men or women.  The only thing she is afraid of, are baths," said Lynn Connor with Pet Paradise Resort. "If they can do this to poor, defenseless animals, what else can they do?"

"It breaks your heart. There's no other way to go about it," said Sherry Ferguson, Executive Director of the Houston Humane Society. "And no matter how many times you see it, it's still just as bad or worse."

If you have any information on the case, please call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).

All tipsters will remain anonymous.
