On July 2 around 10:53 a.m., Kentucky State Police got a call of a man who had been attacked by two dogs on Dove Road in the Farmington community of Graves County.
A trooper arrived and found 22-year-old Mitchell Slayden with multiple lacerations.
According to the investigation, Slayden was riding a bike and had pulled into the driveway of a home belonging to 27-year-old Chris Bouland (aka Christopher Lee Bouland) of Farmington. Slayden was looking for someone he believed lived at the home, however that person no longer lived there.
Note: Tina Dykes is also reported to be the pit bulls' owner as well.
As Slayden attempted to leave the driveway, two pit bulls attacked him. Slayden had lacerations to his face, head, arms, and legs. He was airlifted to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee with life threatening injuries.
The two dogs were taken into custody by the Graves County Animal Control. They will be quarantined and monitored for at least 10 days.
An investigation is ongoing.
