Dog Attacks and Kills Another Dog; Owner Flees

PENNSYLVANIA -- A woman's dog was killed Monday when it was attacked by another dog while on a walk. Early Monday morning police responded to the dog complaint on the 500 block of Oak Street.

The woman explained that while she was walking her dog, another dog attacked and killed her dog.

She described the other dog as a brown pit bull and said that the owner of the dog stopped at first to help her but then left. He told her he was going to put the pit bull in his house and come back to help but never did.

The owner of the pit bull is described as a heavyset, Hispanic male with short brown hair between 20 and 30 years old. Police believe the man and his dog live in the area of Oak Street.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Lebanon City Police at (717) 272-6611.
