Wisconsin: Children tortured and shot a kitten to death with a BB gun, say police. Brad Walker arrested after marijuana grow operation found at home

WISCONSIN -- The Fennimore Police Department is investigating an incident where children killed a kitten with a BB gun.

An officer was called to the 700 block of Garfield Street around 7:35 p.m. Monday for an animal cruelty complaint where one or more children used a BB gun to torture and eventually kill the cat.

Note: Online, Brad Walker is listed as living at 725 Garfield Street, Fennimore, Wisconsin.

After an investigation, police say the case will be referred to juvenile authorities. The Fennimore Police Chief couldn't say how many children were involved.

While at the residence, the officer who responded came upon another crime. He found drug paraphernalia, marijuana, marijuana plants and several other items related to the packaging of drugs.

While he was investigating that, the Fennimore Police Chief says a man showed up in his vehicle under the influence.

Bradley M. Walker (Brad Walker), 37, of Fennimore, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 3rd Offense. His case will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney's office. He could also face charges related to the drug materials found at the home.

According to pet-abuse.com, animal abusers are five times more likely to
commit violent crimes than non-abusers and violent childhood and
adolescent offenders against animals are likely to repeat the criminal
behavior as they become adults. FBI studies have shown that most
serial killers tortured animals as children.

Child Killer: Brenda Spencer is notorious for shooting a gun into a crowd of children. Eleven children were hit by her bullets with two dying. When she was a child, Spencer lit the tails of cats and dogs, which she found in the neighborhood, on fire.
