New Mexico: Chihuahua made a big mistake by straying into a yard with pit bulls

NEW MEXICO -- Prayers for our Chilie (Chihuahua) he was attacked by two pit bulls.

He was with the kids at the park on a leash and he was accidentally let go.

He has an open wound on his neck and one on the back of his head and possible broken ribs. My children are devastated!! We are at the vet now!

 

  

 

Dolores Griego Armijo: Well yall There's nothing we can do to the owners of pit bulls according to the animal shelter & police dept..due to fact chile went into their yard so that sucks, wonder if one of their dogs or kids would have gone into our yard and same thing would of happened if they'd a found cause to blame us or have us pay vet bill...oh well just thankful Chile is alive & will heal in time.

Monica Gutierrez: At least, he will survive. That is a shame that nothing can be done about the pit bull attacking him.
