Bulger was the victim of a vicious pit bull attack back in February. He underwent three surgeries in two days immediately following the attack and still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
It's been a month since the attack and the family is back home in Mobile. However, Andrew is scheduled to undergo another operation in Birmingham in the upcoming week.
While no charges have been filed against the dog's owner, the family's attorney told FOX10 News that the dog's owner decided to euthanize the pit bull on Tuesday, March 1.
It's not acceptable that no charges were filed. It's also not acceptable that this pit bull lived for another month, and that its death depended on the opinion of its owner.
ReplyDeleteAs long as our authorities insist on this corrupt and depraved behavior, I hope parents will learn the lesson here: Never visit someone or allow your child to visit someone who owns this type of dog.
