MAINE -- A Bangor woman was cited after her dog attacked a man walking in the 200 block of Messinger Street Tuesday, police said.
Police said Kyle Campbell, of Bangor, was walking down the street around 12:48 p.m. when a pitbull-type dog came out of a yard and attacked him, biting Campbell on the right hand.
Campbell was treated at a local hospital and released, police said.
Nicole Deckert, of the 200 block of Messigner Street, was cited for confinement of dogs, police said. Police said the dog previously bit a mailman.
