MONTANA -- Two Kalispell-area residents have denied drug charges filed after a marijuana growing operation was discovered by officers investigating a dog attack on a 7-year-old girl.
Rachael Clarke and Timothy Standiford pleaded not guilty to felony charges of manufacturing dangerous drugs during a hearing on Thursday in District Court in Kalispell.
The father of the girl, Jonathon Banonis, also is charged, but has not appeared in court.
The girl was attacked by four American bulldogs on Dec. 31. She told officers that she and Clarke had been in the shop where the marijuana was being grown before she was attacked.
Prosecutors say Banonis was living in Red Lodge and leasing the Creston-area property to Clarke and Standiford.
