Alabama: Daniel Bennett, 18, accused of raping horse multiple times

ALABAMA -- An Alabama man has been accused of repeatedly sexually molesting a horse in a barn stall.

Daniel Bennett, 18, allegedly told Mobile County Sheriff’s Office investigators he attempted to molest a horse.

The owner of the 20-year-old horse, named Polly, said she found Bennett in the barn after her dogs’ barking led her to the scene.

Owner Francine Janes and her husband, who was armed with a gun, found Bennett hiding in a barn stall, according to local reports.

Upon being found, Janes said he told her that “He likes horses. He wanted to pet the horse.”

Bennett was reportedly held at gunpoint by Janes' husband until police arrived.

Police reportedly discovered that Bennett had a trench coat with a burglar’s tool in it.

Janes doesn't believe this is the first time Bennett has abused her horse.

She told investigators she found what she believes to be evidence in Polly’s stall around 10 times throughout the month of December.

"I would say seven maybe 10 times," Janes told WPMI. "Toilet paper had been left [behind]. The hay stacks had been removed. Items had been turned over. And that's as far as I want to go [in describing what I found]."

Bennett’s arrest warrant lists his crime of bestiality as a misdemeanor, claiming he "engaged in or submitted to any sexual contact with an animal, to-wit: a horse."

Bennett is scheduled to appear in court January 18.  It was unclear if he had a lawyer.

United Kingdom: Suzy Cairns, 39, pleads guilty to sexually abusing dog and having child pornography

UNITED KINGDOM -- A woman in Scotland who shot cellphone video of herself in a sex act involving her pet dog and whipped cream has pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing pornography.

Cops in the West Lothian region of Scotland found the video – along with a cache of sickening child pornography photos – back in March, when they raided the home of Suzy Cairns, following a tip to the Cyber Crime Unit of Scotland’s national police force.

Cairns, 39, pled guilty to two counts of possessing pornographic material between February 2016 and April 2017.

She admitted being in possession of indecent photographs of children being sexually abused.

She also admitted being in possession of “extreme pornographic images depicting in an explicit way a female engaging in sexual activity with abuse of a dog”.

Prosecutor Jim Robertson said during Cairns' court appearance this week that the video “appeared to be self-generated involving the accused and her pet dog,” the Edinburgh Evening News reported.

Robertson added the dog, a yellow Labrador retriever, was present at Cairns’ home during last March’s raid.

Authorities were alerted to Cairns after her internet IP address was discovered trying to access indecent images of children. While going through her phone, police found more than 160 pornographic photos featuring children.

After pleading guilty, Cairns will make her next court appearance on Feb. 9. Her sentencing has been deferred until social workers' reports on her background have been reviewed.

Cairns’ name was immediately added to the country’s sex offenders’ register, with law enforcement asking the court to assess her for electronic monitoring.

“You pled guilty to a serious matter which requires me to obtain reports,” Sheriff Peter Hammond told Cairns. “In the meantime I have to explain that because of your plea of guilty to a sexual offence, as of today you have become subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.”

The dog, meanwhile, remains in Cairns' possession, according to reports. What happens to the dog when Cairns is sentenced is still unclear.

Canada: No evidence of bestiality in animal-cruelty case, Quebec City police say

CANADA -- Quebec City police say that information on social media suggesting a suspect in an animal-cruelty case might have also committed bestiality was unfounded.

In a statement issued Friday, the force said, “Many verifications were carried out by investigators and, according to the results obtained, nothing leads us to believe that the suspect committed bestiality. Information transmitted via social media did not originate from the woman and have proved to be unfounded.”

The police follows the arrest on Nov. 30 of the woman in a Limoilou neighbourhood residence on suspicion of animal cruelty after a video apparently posted by the suspect depicted a dog being thrown across a room.

The woman has signed a promise to appear in court and been forbidden to procure any animals after those found in her home were sent to a shelter. Police said she is respecting the conditions of her release.

ORIGINAL STORY

A woman in her 20s was arrested in a Quebec City home Thursday night after residents complained to police of images posted on social media depicting cruelty to animals.

Some footage of what apparently were part of the postings obtained by news outlets Thursday depicted a puppy being lifted by the scruff of its neck and thrown across a room.

Quebec City police took the woman from the address in the city’s Limoilou district to the station, where she was booked on charges of animal cruelty and bestiality, suggesting police suspect a sexual act involving an animal occurred.

The woman was released from custody after signing a promise to appear in court.

Two dogs and a cat were in the residence when police made their arrest. The animals have been sent to a local shelter for care.

New York: Steven Errante raped and then beat a dog to death with a baseball bat in 2013. He's been arrested again; now accused of raping horses

NEW YORK -- A Suffolk County creep with a history of animal abuse was busted on Wednesday afternoon for having sex with horses earlier this year, cops said Thursday.

Steven Errante, 30, of Dix Hills, had been ordered to check in with the Animal Abuse Offenders Registry after he was convicted of RAPING and beating a dog with a baseball bat in 2013, but failed to do so.
"After being stolen from her owners and raped by Errante, the Rottweiler-Labrador mix, which was suffering from a fractured skull including fractures to her head, face, trauma to the body and a broken forearm, was euthanized to end her suffering."
So detectives from the county cops’ Special Victims Section paid him a visit to check into his failure to register and discovered that he had “sexual contact with RAPED horses on two separate occasions,” according to a statement.

The disturbing encounters occurred at a stable on Pine Acres Boulevard in Dix Hills on Aug. 25 and Sept. 4, cops said.

Errante was charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with an animal and failure to register with the offender’s registry.

United Kingdom: Mark Hook, 38, admitted to RAPING Labrador and uploading bestiality videos to internet

UNITED KINGDOM -- A man who had sex with his friend's dog and shared videos carrying out his "sick fantasies" online has been jailed.

Mark Hook, 38, admitted to RAPING his friend's Labrador numerous times as well as other deviant sex animal cruelty crimes against the animal.

Hook recorded video of him abusing and RAPING the dog and shared the videos with other sick perverts via the apps Skype, Kick and Whatsapp.

He was sentenced to three years and two months yesterday, the Bristol Post reports.

Bristol Crown Court heard how Hook CLAIMED he had descended into drug-fueled spiral which saw him downloading the most extreme kinds of child pornography and animal pornography before acting out his sick fantasies with the poor dog on a farm in Somerset.

Hook, from Hartcliffe, lived at his parent’s house following the collapses of a long term relationship.

He rarely socialized, instead preferring to spend his time alone in his room where he snorted the drug Mephedrone, drank and shared vile images with an online community of pedophiles.

He was arrested after police found messages from him on the computer of another man.

Hook had been sharing perverted fantasies with the man about child abuse and bestiality / animal cruelty – using the nickname DirtyBristolBoi.

Hook’s iPhone, laptop and hard drive were seized by police in April 2016 and officers found dozens of child sex images, some involving babies.

The judge said Hook had been viewing "the worst kinds of sexual acts imaginable against a human being".

Prosecutor Richard Posner said Hook had shared the sado-masochistic porn with others.

Hook also had 797 "extreme pornographic images" depicting men and women having oral and anal sex with dogs, horses and cows.

The court heard Hook began acting on his perverted urges in late 2014. He had a friend film him being penetrated by the Labrador on a farm in Somerset.

Police found 20 videos of Hook having sex with RAPING the dog on his hard drive, created over seven different dates.

Hook was charged with ten counts in all, relating to creating and distributing child pornography and extreme pornography as well as having sex with RAPING the dog, filming it and distributing it.

Judge Horton said Hook was a "part of a network that processed, shared and facilitated the making of these images".

Robert Duval, defending, said Hook was of previous good character and that this would "come as a cataclysmic shock" to people who knew him.

He CLAIMED that following his arrest Hook had made a "concerted effort" to kick his drug habit and seek counselling for his problems.

Passing sentence Judge Horton said: "Abuse of drugs proved a gateway for him which meant there was nothing even vaguely rational about what he watched and what he did with the images and with his own body.

"He spent time with the worst people imaginable and got into a pattern of life into which he completely disappeared."

Judge Horton sentenced hook to three years and two months for his crimes, telling him: "You are part of an ever-growing plague of men in this society who present as men of honesty, integrity and family values.

"But behind closed doors in reality you conceal very dark secrets. You sit in private rooms with computers and seek out the most appalling sexual degradation and abuse of young children and babies.”

An NSPCC spokesperson for South West England said: “The children in these pictures are the victims of child abuse and the horrific experiences they endured for the images to be created should not be underestimated.

"The proliferation of abuse images online is a growing problem, fuelled by offenders like Hook.

"More needs to be done by internet providers, governments and law enforcement to cut this material off at the source, but even then there is no guarantee that the existing abuse images will ever disappear from the web."

If any adult is worried that a child may be being abused, they should call the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000. Help for children and young people is available through Childline on 0800 1111.

Arkansas: Everett Compton, Jr., 49, accused of repeatedly raping family's pet donkeys

ARKANSAS -- A Siloam Springs man is accused of sexually abusing a couple’s pet donkeys after he was caught having sex with raping the animals on a game camera set up to catch trespassers, according to Siloam Springs district court documents.

Everett Lee Compton, Jr., 49, was arrested Monday (July 31) in connection with five felony counts of cruelty to animals. Compton also faces four misdemeanor counts of bestiality and criminal trespassing.

The donkeys’ owners told police they’d been having trouble with people harassing their pets on Cheri Whitlock Drive for three years, according to the documents.

The Whitaker family had been talking with police for the past month, and officers had posted extra patrols in the area.

Signs warning against trespassers didn’t solve the problem, so the owners set up a game camera to catch intruders.

The camera captured several images on May 27, June 4 and July 5 of Compton putting a bag over a donkey’s head, getting behind the animal and placing his pelvis against its rear, according to the documents.

However, police apparently weren't able to collect enough evidence that Compton was raping the animals. So the family purchased and installed a security camera to record video and were horrified at what they saw.

Siloam Springs police apprehended Compton on July 16 after he was caught having sex with RAPING another donkey on the same property, according to the documents.

Prior to his arrest, Compton told the officer he had been feeding the donkeys some carrots. When the officer asked Compton if he had been having sex with RAPING any donkeys that night, he answered "No."

The officer then told Compton there were surveillance cameras located around the property, and that he planned to look at the footage.

Compton told the officer he smokes a lot of marijuana, and claimed it made him do "sick things."

He tried to talk the officers out of arresting him, swearing he would "get help" if he was not charged with having sex with RAPING the donkey, according to the incident report.

One family member told the broadcaster: "It just made me sick to my stomach. To know that she couldn’t tell nobody and that she was having to go through this and she couldn’t tell nobody.

"We knew he was there so we could call police to come and check things out."

Compton was being held Tuesday (Aug. 1) at the Benton County Jail on a $5,000 bond. He has a hearing set for Sept. 11 in Benton County Circuit Court.

Florida: Horse that police say Darius Galloway was raping was a rescue horse that had been part of an animal cruelty case

FLORIDA -- The horse that was sexually molested RAPED by a Valparaiso man had been a rescue from Alaqua Animal Refuge and had experienced severe neglect and abuse early in her life.

Alaqua founder Laurie Hood said Athena, an Arabian mare, came to Alaqua in 2013 with several other horses as part of an animal cruelty case. Hood said the horse was neglected and abused, but gentle and kind with her rescuers.

“She was just the perfect horse to go to a family with little girls and have them dote all over her,” Hood said.

The family with little girls adopted Athena and took good care of her, according to Hood, keeping her boarded in a reputable stable in Valparaiso and visiting her daily.

But according to the Valparaiso Police Department, beginning in April, a man trespassed onto horse stable property and began molesting RAPING Athena in her stall.

Darius Shamod Galloway, 26, was arrested July 26 after authorities found him in Athena’s stall with his shirt around his neck, pants sagging and fly open standing next to the horse. He admitted to police that he entered the stable “with the intent to pet, fondle and masturbate to Athena.”

Shamod also said that was the third time he had been to the stable to molest RAPE Athena. In previous instances, he used cooking oil as a lubricant.

Galloway was charged with engaging in sexual conduct with an animal, burglary of an unoccupied structure and petit theft in the first degree. Police say Galloway stole a trail camera the horse’s owners had set up after growing suspicious someone had been entering the stall and harming Athena.

Galloway was released Monday on $3,500 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 6. No attorney is listed for him in court records.

Hood said she and other representatives from Alaqua plan to be at all of his court hearings.

“I think it’s important that the judge know that there’s a lot of people who take this very seriously,” Hood said. “I hope that he’ll get the stiffest penalty that he can, per law.”

Hood said the horse is healing physically and emotionally from her wounds.

Florida: Darius Galloway, 26, accused of raping a horse several times

FLORIDA -- A 26-year-old Valparaiso man faces multiple charges in connection with the rape of a horse.

Darius Shamod Galloway of Okaloosa Avenue has been charged with sexual activities involving animals, burglary to an unoccupied structure and petit theft, according to the Valparaiso Police Department. The burglary is a felony; the two other charges are misdemeanors.

According to Galloway’s arrest report, the owner of a female horse that boards at a stable on Valparaiso Parkway noticed oil on the horse’s rump April 25.

Two months later, on June 20, she again observed oil on the horse, as well as a visible handprint in the oil.

A week later, June 27, the horse’s owner told the stable’s owner she had again noticed oil on the equine’s rump, as well as other likely signs of sexual abuse, the report said. A trail camera then was set up in the stable.

According to police, on July 19, the camera allegedly captured images of Galloway entering the stable wearing a long-sleeved, hooded garment with a “skull and bones” design.

He was seen on the video obtaining a folding chair and then standing on it shirtless behind the horse in her stall, police reported.

When Galloway left, his face was visible to the camera.

On July 26, the owner of the stable saw Galloway walk down her private driveway toward the stable about 11:30 p.m., police said. The owner contacted police, and a short time later, officers found Galloway in the horse’s stall.

According to the report, Galloway had his shirt around his neck and his pants were sagging. He had the trail camera in his hand, according to police.

Authorities say Galloway admitted to having sex with RAPING the horse, and that he intended to take the camera with him and use it at his home. He is being held without bond in the Okaloosa County Jail.

Florida: Matt Manderfield arrested, accused of brutally beating and possibly sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend's dog

FLORIDA -- A Tallahassee man has been arrested after investigators say a dog in his care was taken to the vet with a dislocated tail and injuries possibly caused by sexual abuse.

Matthew Manderfield (Matt Manderfield) was arrested on Monday for felony cruelty to animals.

A court document says that on April 7, the City of Tallahassee Animal Control got a phone call from a doctor at the a local animal hospital in reference to an animal at their clinic that had injuries possibly caused by sexual abuse.

The doctor told investigators that the dog had been brought in with swelling and bruising in its inner left leg, trauma to the anus, and a tail that was completely dislocated from its spine.

The doctor advised investigators that the trauma seemed to be non-accidental and, while not officially confirmed, they were not able to rule out sexual abuse as a cause of injuries to the dog.

The dog's tail was later amputated after being evaluated by another doctor.

When the woman who brought the dog in was asked if a person could've done this, the woman said that she and her boyfriend, Manderfield, were going through a breakup and that she had left her animals with him due to her living situation.

Once she heard that something was wrong with the dog through her friends, who had heard the news from Manderfield, she went to get it from his house.

When asked what happened, he told her that he hadn't noticed anything when he left the house around 8 p.m. but when he got home around midnight, noted that the dog was acting unusual.

The woman told investigators that Manderfield had been "extremely verbally abusive" in the relationship and that she had asked him several times if he would hurt her animals, which he denied profusely.

The woman provided police with a sworn written statement.

In text messages documented in the arrest report, Manderfield denied multiple times that he ever abused the animal, saying "I have never and would never hurt him [dog]," and that he had contacted her immediately after he had realized something was wrong.

Investigators say that the text messages between the two confirmed that the house the dog was in was not broken into and that no one else was home at the time the incident was reported.

Due to the dog being in Manderfield's care at the time of the injuries and the nature of the injuries, he was arrested for felony cruelty to animals.

A warrant for his arrest was signed on June 29. He was arrested on Monday.

United Kingdom: Convicted sex offender Igor Rusakov, 26, sent woman video showing himself sexually abusing an animal

UNITED KINGDOM -- A convicted sex offender applying to be a topless butler via a dating app sent his prospective employer an explicit video of himself involving an animal.

Igor Rusakov began talking to a woman after matching with her on Tinder, where she revealed she was setting up a topless butler business.

Telford Magistrates Court heard that when he expressed an interest the woman asked him to send her photos.

Rusakov, 26, instead sent her two sexually explicit videos of himself - one of which involved an animal - along with an indecent photograph.

Adam Warner, prosecuting, told the court the woman was 'disgusted' by the videos and found it 'distressing' that an animal had been involved.

The woman, from Shropshire, reported the videos to police who then seized electronic devices from Rusakov's home.

Officers found four indecent videos showing naturist activity with children, a sexually explicit image of a person performing an indecent act with an animal and a recording of a woman having a shower.

Mr Warner told the court Rusakov was seen setting up the recording equipment before a woman was seen to take a shower.

Mr Warner said: 'In a police interview he admitted to all of this but he doesn't show much in the way of remorse or accepting it as unusual behaviour.'

He also told magistrates that the woman said she had never been exposed to such content before and in her opinion Rusakov should be banned from keeping animals.

Rusakov, from Coventry, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, possessing an extreme pornographic image, making indecent videos of children and sending two indecent videos and an indecent image. The offences date back to between 2007 and 2015.

Mr Paul Nicholas, representing Rusakov, said he had not contacted the woman he sent the indecent videos and photograph to for two years, arguing a restraining order was not needed.

He said Rusakov was already registered as a sex offender. Rusakov was given a three-year community order. He will have to complete a sex offender treatment programme and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

Rusakov was also ordered to do 180 hours unpaid work and pay £185 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Alabama: Daniel Dunn, 28, accused of sodomizing a minor, producing child porn and raping a dog. His fiance, Kelsey Culp, also charged

ALABAMA -- An Alabama man has been arrested and charged with repeatedly sodomizing a young child, producing child pornography and having sex with RAPING a dog.

Daniel Ray Dunn, 28, was initially arrested on May 26 on three counts of child pornography, sodomy and bestiality, and on May 31 two additional charges of first-degree sodomy were filed against him.

Court records say the new charges stem from incident on April 24 and May 23, and that Dunn "did engage in deviate sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 12."

The man was also accused of filming a sexual encounter involving the child and committing a sexual act on a dog (rape).

On the pornography count, the arrest warrant states that Dunn did 'knowingly film photograph, record, or otherwise produce any obscene matter that contains a visual reproduction of a person under the age of 17, to wit, engaged in any act of sado-masochistic abuse, sexual excitement, masturbation, breast nudity or genital nudity', reported Al.com.

On the bestiality count, the document alleges the man 'engaged in or submitted to any sexual contact with an animal, to wit, a female dog'.

Dunn's fiancee, 22-year-old Kelsey Culp, was also arrested and charged with bestiality on May 30 after she 'allegedly caused, aided or abetted another engaging in any sexual contact with an animal,' according to arrest warrants.

Culp was released from the Shelby County jail last Wednesday after posting $6,000 bond. If convicted, she could face up to a year in jail and a fine.

Dunn's bond was initially set at $506,000, but it was raised to $1.06 million after the additional charges were brought against him on Friday. He is due in court for his initial appearance on June 29.

According to Culp’s Facebook page, the couple got engaged in late March. On her social media account the 22-year-old describes her occupation as a stay-at-home mom.

United Kingdom: Disgusting couple, Michael Smith and Gwen Kerr, sexually abused his Bull Mastiff. For the crime of bestiality, they're sent on their way with no jail time and told "not to do it again"

UNITED KINGDOM -- A vile boyfriend who filmed his girlfriend having sex with sexually abusing his dog has avoided jail.

Michael Smith, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, filmed the sex act between Gwen Kerr, 55 and his bull mastiff.

On May 27 last year the 64-year-old took the video to social services and reported concern for Kerr's welfare but found himself in court.

Smith denied aiding and abetting, counselling or procuring intercourse with an animal and a second charge of possessing extreme pornographic images, but was found guilty by a jury. Kerr admitted having sex with sexually abusing an animal.

Mark McKone, prosecuting, said: 'This defendant (Kerr) effectively had sexually abused sexual intercourse with a dog.

'Mr Smith took a video film of that dog. In respect of extreme pornographic images this offence carries a maximum of two years in prison.'

CAREER CRIMINAL
Mr McKone added that Smith, had 10 previous convictions for 40 offences, although none of a similar nature.

During his trial Smith claimed he filmed the act because he thought Kerr was on drugs and claimed he had only wanted to prove her strange behavior. He claimed he was not acting for any sexual gratification when he pressed record on his camcorder.

The jury, who was forced to watch two four-minute videos of the disgusting activity during the trial, rejected his account.

Sentencing the pair, James Spencer QC said: 'I'm quite satisfied that you, Michael Smith, used and abused your girlfriend Gwen Kerr to be involved in the activity.

"FACING UP TO TWO YEARS IN PRISON". PATHETIC SENTENCES - NO JAIL TIME FOR EITHER

'I am sentencing you to a 12 months custodial sentence, suspended for 12 months.

'Gwen Kerr, I am conditionally discharging you for 12 months. Don't do it again.'

She is just as guilty. Stop making her out to be the victim. The dog is the victim. Did they even bother to seize the dog or do they still have it so they can continue to sexually abuse it?

Ohio: "There were children being forced to engage in sexual activity with animals" in videos Russ Conrad, 30, was trading online with others around the world

OHIO -- An Ohio man is accused of sharing child pornography online that showed young children being forced to engage in sexual acts with animals.

Thirty-year-old Russell Conrad, of Morristown, is facing charges of pandering obscenities involving a minor and possession of child pornography - all felonies. Authorities say other charges may be filed. It's unclear if he has an attorney who can comment.

The investigation began when police in Brunswick who are part of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children task force discovered that someone was downloading child porn.

They notified the Belmont County Sheriff's Office, which executed a search warrant on Tuesday at Conrad's home at 39481 National Road in Morristown, on the Ohio-West Virginia border.

Officials say the 30-year-old man allegedly had an "extraordinarily large collection" of illegal videos involving children.

Some of the depictions literally can't be described in news reports.

"There were children being forced to engage in sexual activity with animals," disclosed Detective Sergeant Doug Cruse of the Belmont County Sheriff's Department. "It was pretty horrific stuff."

"This is a person who has been living in our community, downloading and sharing very, very graphic materials," said Sheriff Dave Lucas. "This is another person we've taken off the streets."

Sheriff’s office deputies believe Conrad has been sharing the videos online. A detective told WTRF that the images may have been filmed in another country, perhaps Russia or Denmark, and shared in the United States.

Belmont County' Detective Sergeant Doug Cruse, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, works daily to combat this secretive industry.

"It definitely creates an atmosphere of an underground network of people who share this stuff like it's a baseball card collection," noted Cruse.

The sheriff says they'll now investigate any contacts Russell Conrad may have had with actual children.

"They'll do a very thorough investigation of him, his life, what children he has had contact with," said Lucas. "And then we're going to make sure that none of those children has been abused or taken advantage of."

Conrad is in the Belmont County Jail on a $65,000 bond.

(March 2017) Georgia: Caught on surveillance video by an 8-year-old boy who saw him raping a dog, Cruz Barrera-Lugo, 61, makes his second court appearance

GEORGIA -- The case against a Lawrenceville man accused of RAPING engaging in a sexual act with his employer’s dog moved forward this week, though the charges against him were altered slightly.

Cruz Barrera-Lugo, 61, sat emotionless in the Gwinnett County Magistrate courtroom flanked by his attorney and a Spanish-speaking translator Friday as Gwinnett County Police Officer Kevin Fieldgrove laid out the state’s case against him.

Officer Fieldgrove said he was called to a house in Lawrenceville Feb. 11 to check out what he originally referred to as a “domestic dispute.”

The owner of the home reportedly told Officer Fieldgrove his 8-year-old nephew had been watching the home’s security footage on a computer when he saw “a man in the backyard messing with his dog.”

It was reportedly the family’s hired landscaper, Barrera-Lugo, who had been tending the family’s lawn every two weeks for about a year.

Officer Fieldgrove said the home owner went outside to confront Barrera-Lugo.

“He said the (landscaper) went pale white,” Fieldgrove said. “He tried to plead with (the homeowner) not to call the police.”

Officer Fieldgrove said he watched the security tape when he got to the Lawrenceville home. It allegedly showed Barrera-Lugo coaxing the dog into a corner of the yard and pulling down his pants before RAPING engaging in a sexual act with the animal.

When Officer Fieldgrove couldn’t find Barrera-Lugo to arrest him, the police released information about his case to the media.

Barrera-Lugo turned himself in soon after. He was booked into Gwinnett County jail Feb. 13 at 4:47 p.m. on charges of bestiality and cruelty to children in the second degree, according to jail records.

The felony charge of cruelty to children in the second degree means a suspect is accused of causing cruel or excessive mental or physical pain to a minor, according to Georgia law.

Officer Fieldgrove said Friday he felt that charge appropriate for Barrera-Lugo’s case. He said the 8-year-old involved in the case had suffered cruel or excessive mental pain when he watched his family’s landscaper engage in a sexual act with his dog.

But Barrera-Lugo’s attorney, Eric Crawford, argued the state had no evidence the boy suffered that degree of mental pain. The court agreed.

Barrera-Lugo will still face a felony charge of bestiality when he comes before Gwinnett Superior Court, but child cruelty charge was dropped to third degree — a misdemeanor.

Barrera-Lugo may have to wait in jail until his superior court date arrives. Crawford argued bond for his client Friday, but it was denied.

Arkansas: Good Samaritan stops teenager from raping her neighbor's dog. Instead of thanking her, cops arrest her.

ARKANSAS -- An Arkansas woman has been arrested after firing a warning shot at a teenage boy she accused of raping her neighbor's dog.

Kellie Lenkerd rang Centerton Police Department to report the alleged bestiality, however, officers arrested her and charged her with aggravated assault.

Lenkerd claimed the boy, who has not been named for legal reasons, was in her neighbors backyard wearing only his boxer shorts and a t-shirt while interfering with the dog.

Detective Jeremiah Nicholson of Centerton Police Department said on April 17, 2017 officers received reports that a 'juvenile male sexually assaulted a dog'.

In a statement to police, seen by MailOnline, Lenkerd told Centerton Police Department:

'I heard my dog Linus barking like crazy so I looked out my bedroom and saw N with his boxers on and the dog he raped last time.

'I got my gun out of my safe and went out my back door. I told him to get on the f****** ground and pointed my gun at him.

'He asked me if the gun was real and I said “what the f*** do you think?” I told him one more time to get on the f****** ground now.

'He headed over to the fence. I unlocked my fence and he jumped the fence. He started to run and I pointed the gun to the ground and fired to scare him. He kept running and said “you crazy b****”. I headed in and took my gun inside and called 911.

'When I was outside I saw he left his clothes behind and iPad with headphones. I grabbed the iPad in case he came back to take his stuff. I needed evidence if it was him this time.'

Neighbors reported hearing a loud ‘pop’ according to court records.

Patricia Peterson, owner of the dog said: ‘I was sitting next to window working on a computer. I heard what sounded like a firecracker against a garage door. I looked up and saw NM running behind my pick-up and across the street. NM is a friend of my 14-year-old twin boys.’

According to documents held by Benton County Court, NM and his mother gave a statement to police.

The teenager has since been charged with bestiality and criminal trespass.

Officers recovered a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun from the scene.

Lenkerd, 40, was charged with aggravated assault, which is classed as a Class D Felony. According to court records she was released on bail of $5,000.

She is due to appear in Benton County Court on June 5.
