Janesville police seek help finding pit bull that bit person

JANESVILLE, WI -- The Janesville Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a pit bull dog that reportedly bit someone Friday night.

The victim, a male, was walking in the 1300 block of North Sumac Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, when the dog, which was running loose, bit him.

The dog is described as a brown pit bull with a black nose, and possibly a brindle, or striped coat. It is about two feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds. It was last seen with no leash and no collar.
