California: Gov Jerry Brown shows his true colors in bringing deported convicted felony animal abuser Marco Antonio Chavez Medina back to the USA and granting him permanent residency

MEXICO -- Marco Antonio Chavez Medina (aka Marco Chavez) was born in Mexico. When he was a baby, his parents illegally crossed the border with him into the United States in 1973.

In 1989, when then-President Ronald Reagan issued a blanket amnesty for the 15+ million illegal aliens in the United States at the time, Medina was handed a green card -- something worth more than gold.

At the age of 19, Medina enlisted in the military. He did not make a career out of it, though, and I don't know what exactly he did while he was in the military, but after his four-year stint he left them.

Not too much longer after that, Marco Chavez Medina committed a horrific crime of animal cruelty on a dog.

I say "horrific" because this was in the late 1990s, animal cruelty cases weren't prosecuted as often as they are now. And even back then - 20 years ago - he was charged with FELONY AGGRAVATED ANIMAL CRUELTY. On top of that, they actually sentenced him to be incarcerated FOR TWO YEARS!

Of course, sentencing what it is, Medina only had to serve 10 months of that. But think, rarely does anyone serve jail time even now - 20 years later - so what he did had to have been so heinous that twenty years ago the jury elected to send him to jail.

Of course, Marco Chavez Medina refuses to admit his crime. Instead, he claims that the jury "got it all wrong" and that he's innocent of the abuse of the dog ("the situation involved a dog in a mechanic shop"). He claims, to this day, that "someone else" beat the dog.

After he finished his jail stint, an immigration judge rightly said "We don't want criminals in our country - especially animal abusers" and deported his animal abusing butt back to Mexico.

However, thanks to a liberal immigration judge, who reinstated his green card ("Come to the USA we love animal abusing immigrants!") and thanks to California Gov. Jerry Brown, Marco Chavez Medina has now returned to the USA - free to abuse more animals. See, what Jerry Brown did was officially pardon him -- as if this crime against this innocent animal had never happened.

FROM THE ARTICLE:
Nathan Fletcher, a former California state lawmaker, founded the Honorably Discharged/Dishonorably Deported Coalition that tries to help deported veterans get back to the U.S.

"We are here today because a group of people said if you are willing to die for a country, that country would not leave you behind, that country would not let you be deported," he said.

Earlier this year at the request of Fletcher's organization, California Gov. Jerry Brown pardoned Chavez for a 1998 conviction for animal cruelty in a dog beating. Chavez said another person was responsible.

Months after he was pardoned, an immigration judge granted Chavez's request to return.

Brown, a Democrat, said Chavez served the U.S. and deserved "to come back home."

Yes, he served our country. However, I hate animal abusers more than anything. And the fact that someone is walking around with this elevated status of a veteran/military serviceman who is A CONVICTED ANIMAL ABUSER is disgusting. And for Nathan Fletcher, Jerry Brown and others to gloss over this fact and welcome him back to the United States with open arms is absolutely maddening.

I might have more sympathy for his situation if he admitted to what he did to that poor dog, admitted that he had a drug/alcohol problem at the time (or whatever his problem was at the time) and asked for forgiveness. Michael Vick admitted to what he'd done, repented and has been (mostly) forgiven by society.

This guy, though, is a coward - he won't admit to what he's done. He doesn't deserve to have the mantle of the respect that comes with military personnel who have served our country with honor.

Oh yeah, and Jerry Brown has turned California into a toilet.

Massachusetts: Trial of illegal alien who 'starved, beat, stabbed and tortured a pit bull' is delayed again because he's complaining of being sick

MASSACHUSETTS -- The trial of an illegal immigrant who faces 12 counts of animal abuse against the dog who has come to be known as Puppy Doe has been delayed once again.

An 11th-hour request has pushed back the Tuesday trial date of Radoslaw Czerkawski, 36, in Dedham, Massachusetts, in a case that has received widespread attention due to the extremity of the abuse involved.

A new trial date of January 9 has been tentatively set following a defense request 'based on a medical condition of the defendant', prosecutors told the Boston Globe in a statement.

The trial had already been delayed once for a prosecutor's medical procedure.

In August of 2013, a one-year old pit bull mix was found starving and emaciated in a park in the south suburbs of Boston.

Puppy Doe had fractures, a stab wound to her eye and a split tongue, and was euthanized on the advice of veterinarians.

Czerkawski, a Polish national who was living in the US on an expired tourist visa, is already serving six to ten years in prison for stealing $130,000 from an elderly woman in his care, and stealing another $4,500 from the St. Lawrence Martyr Parish church in New Bedford.

He was working in Quincy as Janina Stock's caretaker when she died at the age of 95 of natural causes on August 31, 2013.

Puppy Doe was found the same day cowering in terror in a nearby park.

Investigators said they found Puppy Doe's blood in the second-floor Quincy residence where Czerkawski was living.

Police say Czerkaswki left Puppy Doe in the park a day after his client passed away. Her death certificate stated that the woman died from 'failure to thrive' caused by her illness.

Authorities do not believe that Czerkaswki had anything to do with the woman’s passing.

Czerkawski has pleaded not guilty to the animal abuse charges, saying that youths drinking in the park were to blame for the horrific crime. His attorney has questioned the DNA evidence against him.

The case generated massive outrage as it wended through the courts, with Czerkawski standing trial for the two theft cases before facing the animal cruelty charges.

Last week, Norfolk County Superior Court Judge Kenneth J. Fishman issued strict rules for animal rights protesters attending the trial, prohibiting them from bringing buttons, signs or shirts into court denigrating Czerkawski or supporting Puppy Doe.

The judge also created a 500-foot buffer zone around the courthouse where demonstrations about the trial are prohibited, in an effort to preserve decorum and prevent jurors from being unduly swayed.

Both prosecutors and Czerkawski's attorneys had agreed the decorum rules were necessary.

The case has gripped the local community and animal lovers nationwide ever since the one-year-old dog was found near a play park with signs that she had been beaten, burned, starved and stabbed in the eyes in what was described as 'medieval' torture.

Animal rescue workers described the injuries inflicted on the pit bull, including a crude split to give it a forked serpent tongue, as the worst they had ever seen.

She had also been burned on the nose, stabbed in the eye, and beaten so severely that she could barely walk.

Veterinarians at the Animal Rescue League of Boston who treated the dog said that she was emaciated and weighed half of what would be expected for her age.

When she was first found it was thought that she had been hit by a car, but the true nature of her injuries soon came to light.

Vet Martha Smith-Blackmore was so shocked by the extent of the abuse that she had to walk away and give herself a break as she examined the dog's body.

'Her joints were pulled apart like medieval times,' she said at the time. 'She was beaten, stabbed, burned over weeks to months and maybe her whole life. And could not walk.'

The vet added: 'When I saw how vulnerable she was and I understood immediately the duration of her suffering, my heart collapsed.'

As well as the burn and stab marks, the dog's vertebrae had been smashed from being hit by a baseball bat or board.

Although there was no evidence of sexual interference, which the vet said can be seen in such abuse cases, the dog's joints had been separated from being pulled apart repeatedly.

Smith-Blackmore said that the dog's injuries were so severe she would have been in constant pain for the rest of her life if she hadn't been put down.

Despite the pain and suffering Puppy Doe had clearly experienced in her short life, staff at the rescue center said she was sweet natured.

'Within hours of being found she had pain medication, food and love,' said Smith-Blackmore. 'She experienced some tenderness and some care at the end of her life.'

Georgia: ICE places hold on illegal alien Fredy Dorantes Moreno after he's arrested for animal cruelty

GEORGIA -- A man could be forced to leave the country after police say he left his puppy in a hot car.

The Havanese puppy was spotted Sunday night panting in the back seat of an SUV in the parking lot of a strip mall in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

A witness said the dog had been in the SUV for at least a half-hour and was struggling.

“The external temperature outside was about 82 degrees,” Cpl. Michele Pihera, with the Gwinnett County Police Department, said. “However, when they put a thermometer inside the car, they determined the temperature inside the SUV was 94 to over 100 degrees.”

Police broke open the window and saved the dog, and they didn’t have to look far for the owner.

Police said that the dog’s owner, Freddy Dorantes (aka Fredy Dorantes-Moreno), and his family ate dinner inside the Hibachi Restaurant in a strip mall.

Officers took the puppy to a place that had some air conditioning.

“After the officer broke out the window, that's when the man came out and saw what happened to his vehicle,” Pihera said.

Dorantes was arrested for animal cruelty. He appeared in court for the first time Tuesday afternoon and was ordered to remain behind bars because U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on him.

The puppy is not up for adoption at this time. The dog will be held at animal control until the court case is resolved, or the family signs papers giving up ownership.

Tennessee: Three illegal aliens, who tortured and stabbed family's dog, have been deported back to Mexico

TENNESSEE -- It took the better part of a year, but the three men convicted in December of brutally attacking a dog in their Asheville Highway apartment in 2016 are now back in their native country, Mexico.

Francisco Pultarco-Flores, 27, Hector Mendoza-Solano, 26, and Luis Mendoza-Hernandez, 24, were each sentenced in December 2016 by Circuit Court Judge Alex Pearson to one year in jail at 30 percent release eligibility on convictions of felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

Upon release in February from the Greene County Detention Center, the men were turned over to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

ICE spokesman Thomas N. Byrd said Wednesday that the trio, all ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM MEXICO, were deported to their country of origin on March 29.

“All three were ordered removed by an immigration judge from the Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review,” Byrd said.

The three men were in the U.S. illegally, authorities recently said. There was apparently some initial confusion about their ages and full names after their arrests [likely because they gave them fake names, reversed their names, etc.], but the men were conclusively identified following an ICE investigation.

“Once we have someone in ICE custody we will detain them while we process them for removal. They will generally go before an immigration judge who will determine if they are to be removed,” Byrd said. “If the judge orders a person removed, we will then begin the process of obtaining travel documents from their country of origin. Once that is completed, we will schedule them for removal.”

Pultarco-Flores, Mendoza-Solano and Mendoza-Hernandez were charged Aug. 14, 2016, by sheriff’s deputies with the felony animal cruelty offense. The men were apparently working in the Greeneville area.

The crime they were charged with outraged many in the community. Their victim was a 7-year-old German shepherd named “Smokey.” His owners live nearby.

Smokey was rescued from the men’s apartment in the 7900 block of Asheville Highway. Sheriff’s deputies investigating a drunk and disorderly call probably saved Smokey’s life, Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society representatives said after the incident.

Smokey’s owners, Elaine and Lester Darnell, told deputies that they were not at their White Sands Road home on the night of Aug. 14, when a thunderstorm passed through the area.

Elaine Darnell later said that she and her husband returned to put Smokey inside the house because he is afraid of storms, but the dog had already jumped over a fenced-in enclosure.

Smokey apparently ran about a quarter-mile to the 7900 block of Asheville Highway, where he came in contact with the three men. They never divulged the circumstances.

As deputies entered the apartment, the three men were seen in a rear bathroom.

"The bathroom door was open. There were three men in the bathroom with the dog and they were holding a bloody knife and a bloody stick," Amy Bowman, Manager at the Greene County Humane Society said.

Smokey had several cuts and punctures to his body. He had been beaten, stabbed repeatedly in the face, neck and body while trapped in the bathroom with the three men.

Blood was all over the floor of the apartment’s bathroom, one of the men was holding a bloody knife and another was holding a long wooden stick [with a knife attached to the end] that was also covered in Smokey's blood.

In court in December, Plutarco-Flores and Mendoza-Hernandez entered guilty pleas to aggravated cruelty to animals. Medoza-Solano entered a best interest plea, meaning he did not admit to the acts alleged by the state, but the plea had the same legal effect as if he were found guilty of the charge by a jury.

At sentencing in December, Pearson additionally prohibited the three men from owning any type of animal for 15 years. They were also ordered to pay veterinarian expenses incurred in treating the dog, which took several months to fully recover from his injuries.

It’s unlikely the court order prohibiting the men from owning animals carries any legal weight in Mexico, court officials said.

Pearson reviewed documents relating to the actions of the men before sentencing. He made similar statements to each defendant.

“These are terrible facts against you and you understand that kind of behavior is extremely offensive not only to the court but society in general,” Pearson told Mendoza-Hernandez.

Pultarco-Flores, Mendoza-Solano and Mendoza-Hernandez never offered an explanation for their actions on the night of Aug. 14, 2016.

California: Marco Chavez Medina was convicted of Felony Animal Cruelty of which he spent nearly a year in prison and then was deported. Gov. Jerry Brown just pardoned him so he can come back to the US and abuse more animals.

CALIFORNIA -- Marco Antonio Chavez Medina grew up in Los Angeles after he illegally arrived to the US with his parents, who were also illegal aliens, in 1973. He was just 1 at the time.

Then-President Ronald Reagan issued blanket amnesty for all illegal aliens and his family won the jackpot -- green cards for everyone.

At 19, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for four years.

Two years after leaving the military, he tortured/abused some animal and was charged with FELONY aggravated animal cruelty.

All I can find is that it "involved a dog at a mechanic's shop" and that he was convicted of viciously beating it -- badly enough that he was charged - and convicted of felony animal cruelty.

In 1998, he was convicted for animal cruelty and served 10 months in prison.

Nearly 20 years later, rarely does anyone ever serve time in jail for Animal Cruelty convictions. So whatever he did 19 years ago was so heinous that a jury found him guilty and a judge sentenced him to 2 years incarceration (of which he only served 10 months). This, despite I'm sure, his attorney's efforts at telling the judge and jury about how he was a soldier and had joined the military, even possibly using that as an excuse for the abuse on this animal.

An immigration judge considered his conviction an aggravated felony, which led to his deportation in 2002.

In an effort to stay together, his family first moved with him to Tijuana, Mexico. After a while, his wife continued struggling with the language barrier - she can't speak English - and the daily commute back to the US for work.

Chavez’ wife divorced him and moved with their three sons to Iowa, according to the website Honorably Discharged, Dishonorably Deported.

Chavez has been living in Tijuana and claims it's so horrible living in Mexico that he understands why people keep breaking the laws of the United States and illegally entering.

Maybe Chavez could've put his time in Mexico to good use -- all Mexican citizens can go to college, university, trade school for FREE. Millions of Americans travel to Tijuana every single year - there is a vibrant, productive economy there.

The people who run the website "Honorably Discharged, Dishonorably Deportedclearly doesn't consider animal cruelty to be important. No one spends 10 months in prison for animal cruelty unless it's really bad. He must've done something horrible.

Oh yeah, and Gov. Jerry Brown is a cretin.
