KALAMAZOO, MI -- A Kalamazoo boy is recovering after the family’s pit bull bit off a piece of his ear this weekend.
Doctors were able to reattach the piece of ear. The name of the 11-year-old victim was not released.
The incident happened in the 600 Block of Phillips Saturday afternoon. Public Safety was alerted by the staff at Bronson emergency that there had been a dog attack.
Animal Control has the 9-month-old family pet in quarantine.
