Two atttacking pit bulls are apprehended

OKLAHOMA -- Two pit bulls attacked a smaller dog Saturday and were apprehended by Enid Animal Control.

 According to Enid Police Department reports, the incident occurred at about 10:43 a.m. Saturday. Officers were sent to the 1200 block of Dover, where two dogs had attacked a smaller white dog in its yard. They were identified as pit bulls.

Animal Control caught both pit bulls and placed them in the animal control vehicle. The dog that was attacked was taken to Wheatland Animal Hospital for treatment.


 The stray dogs were without tags or collars, but were identified as owned by Shane Ellis, who was cited by animal control. The condition of the dog attacked is unknown.
