Woman accused of commanding her pit bull to attack boyfriend

SOUTH CAROLINA -- Toni Melissa Henson, 45, of 308 Clement Road, Chesnee, has been charged with criminal domestic violence third offense, according to online jail records.

Henson's live-in boyfriend was bitten twice by a pit bull early Wednesday morning, and EMS personnel treating the victim for the bites claimed that Henson threatened to turn the dog loose if they did not leave her yard, according to an incident report.

The dog became agitated, the man reported, after he and Henson got into an argument.
The victim was covered in blood, which also was found in the kitchen and hallway inside the residence, according to the report.

A witness stated that during the argument, Henson ordered the pit bull to "get" the victim and the dog bit him and appeared more aggressive due to her command.
