TEXAS -- Toby is a boxer who just turned one. His owner says Toby was attacked by a pit bill that lives down the street.
But Toby is apparently somewhat lucky. Two cats have been killed in recent days, and the cats' owner suspects the neighbor's pit bull also sank its teeth into her precious felines.

"She was an old cat," she said. Neighbors covered her dead cat with a rag and snapped pics of it for proof. "I'm sure she didn't stand a chance," she added.
Ron Babb says the pit bull also tore out a chunk of his dog, Toby. He said they are all afraid to walk from their car to their own front door.
KENS 5 knocked on the pit bull owner's door. She had no comment and would not show us the dog.

Residents on Briar Hill said they have complained at least six times to the city to do something.
"It needs to be euthanized, and I'm a dog lover," Green said.
The owner told KENS 5 that there are plans in the works to have the dog picked up. Keep in mind that when it's an animal-on-animal attack, Animal Care Services says it is not mandated to quarantine the animal.
At about 5 p.m. Friday, Animal Care Services showed up at the home on Briar Hill to futher investigate.

LIsa Norwood of ACS said the original call came in as an animal-on-animal incident and that it was up to date on its vaccinations. There's no reason to bring in the animal if it is current on its rabies shots, she said.
She said the owner did not originally mention that he had been bitten as well, so now they are handling it as a bite case.

However, Animal Control showed up and seized the dog so reporters were able to see it anyway. |
ACS wants to remind victims to give all the information in the original report, especially if a human is hurt.
