WASHINGTON -- Four pit bulls attacked a man in his 30s late Wednesday in South Seattle. The man suffered multiple puncture wounds and extensive injuries to his head, arm, neck, and an ear, according to Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore.
The man was attacked in a yard at around 9 p.m., Moore said.
The dog’s owners heard the attack, ran out to rescue the man, put him on a wooden pallet and dragged him from the yard to a Jack in the Box at Rainier Avenue South and South Director Street, said Fire spokesman Kyle Moore.
The man was alert, conscious and in stable condition when a Seattle Fire medic unit took him to Harborview Medical Center.
“It appears he’ll recover,” Moore said.
Moore did not know what became of the dogs nor the circumstances that led to the attack.
