TENNESSEE -- Knox County officials arrived at an East Knoxville home on Wednesday evening after reports of a dog biting a child in the face.
Authorities said the incident took place around 10:00 p.m. on September Lane off of Rutledge Pike.
Animal Control officers were on the scene to contain the dog. Although the child was injured, the sheriff's office said his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
