Two Children Injured During Pit Bull Attack

MARYLAND -- On Sunday, Aug. 26 around 1 p.m., police and rescue crews responded to the 22000 blk of St. Leonard’s Circle in Great Mills for report of traumatic injuries as a result of a dog bite.

Crews arrived on scene to discover two children had been attacked by four Pit Bulls running at large.

The dogs were described as three juveniles and one adult female.

One patient was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A second patient was treated on the scene.
