Schoolgirl calls for apology after guide dog mauled

A schoolgirl whose guide dog was mauled near a park in Liverpool is calling for an apology.

Jayne Massey, aged 14, says she had been given a new sense of freedom when she became one of the youngest people in the country to benefit from a guide dog.

She is now calling on the owners of the other dog to apologise after the attack outside Walton Hall Park.

[In the video, it says the dog suffered several bites to its hindquarters and they're having to re-evaluate the dog to see if it can continue its work as a guide dog -- or if it's been too traumatized.]
