OREGON -- Bald Hill Park, 6400 N.W. Oak Creek Drive. A 31-year-old Corvallis woman reported that her Yorkshire terrier had to be treated by a veterinarian after a black pit bull mix dog attacked the terrier.
She told police that when she and her dog were approached by the leashed pit bull and its owner at Bald Hill Park on Sept. 27, she picked up her dog as a precautionary measure. The pit bull jumped up and grabbed her dog out of her arms, she said.
The pit bull’s owner pulled the dogs apart.
Police cited Heron Golfetto-Door, 27, of Blodgett, for unprovoked attack, and designated the pit bull mix as potentially dangerous.
