Three children hurt in Winder dog attack

GEORGIA -- The Barrow County Sheriff's Office said three children were attacked Tuesday morning in the Casey's Crossing neighborhood of Winder.

According to the Sheriff's office, three kids were attacked by a dog when they were getting off a bus.

Lieutenant Matt Guthas said two of the children were 10-years-old, and the third was 12.

All three were hurt, two with superficial injuries and one with a minor puncture. They were treated on the scene for wounds to their arms and legs.

The dog is said to belong to a neighbor, and was out running loose in the community.
