FLORIDA -- A pit bull allegedly attacked an East Manatee County resident's show pig Halloween morning, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The unknown dog grabbed the penned pig's head and ripped its ear at a residence in the 600 block of Gates Creek Road, a report states.
The pig's owner broke his shovel over the dog's head before the animal ran off, according to the sheriff's office.
The dog's owner has not been identified.
