Boston police officer shoots, kills pit bull

MASSACHUSETTS -- Boston Police are investigating the shooting and killing of a pit bull by a police officer in Dorchester Saturday night.

The officer shot the dog sometime after 10 p.m. on Millet Street.


Boston Police did not immediately release information on the incident or why the officer was in the area.

Police officers could be seen on Millett Street Saturday night documenting the scene.
