TEXAS --On Wednesday, January 23, 2013, just after 7 p.m., patrol deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to assist EMS at the scene of a dog bite at 411 Springwood Drive (252 F) in South Montgomery County.
Deputies learned that an adult female at the home had been bitten on the hand and ankle by their mixed breed dog. The adult female victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The dog’s owner was also bitten on the hand as the dog was taken into the residence.
The dog’s owner would not come outside of the home for evaluation by EMS. Deputies learned that the dog had also bitten another resident of the home on January 16, 2013, and that victim had been taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Representatives from Animal Control did not come to the incident location last night and were provided details of the incident. Deputies left the home only after verifying the resident inside the home was alert and conscious.
