MICHIGAN -- Two teenagers are being charged with multiple counts including animal cruelty and breaking and entering.
The boys are 13 and 14-years-old from Parma and Sandstone Township.
Jackson County Sheriff officials tell us that the teens stole rifles from an area farm then shot a dairy cow several times at close range from the Milligan Dairy Farm.
Milligan says Missy the cow, was shot in the neck and died a few days later from her injuries.
"She couldn't figure out why anyone would do anything so cruel to her... she didn't even know to run."
The breaking and entering charge is from two separate occasions when the teens broke into the Parma Township Library.
