The Yadkin County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous call asking for a welfare check on two mix Pit bulls.

Detectives found one dog very sick, and the other malnourished. Officers seized the dogs, and one had to be euthanized.
Abigail Gonzalez Lopez of Yadkinville was charged Wednesday with Felony Killed an Animal by Starvation, and Animal Cruelty. He received $5,000 bond.
