FLORIDA -- “Thank you God for healing our son. Thanks for the prayers, God brought everyone together to pray and God is answering our prayers.” said Kristy Graham in a recent Facebook post to the readers of DailyRidge.Com.
She said these words following a horrific ordeal that her son endured early Thursday evening.
Braiden, 8 years old, was attacked by a dog while playing near his home in Waverly. Specific details have not yet been released by police at this time.
Unconfirmed witnesses say that Braiden was attacked by a neighbor's pit bull dog and at one point the dog had the boy by the neck. He was so traumatically injured that emergency officials had him flown from the scene to Arnold Palmers hospital for medical attention.
A few hours after the accident DailyRidge.Com was able to get some details regarding the accident and share it with their readers through facebook. Immediately people started to pray and share the story of the attack. An entire community started to pray for a little boy who they didn’t know.
The little boy required surgery and he mother left this message the next morning about his injuries.
“My son Braiden has been doing well since surgery. He will be keep here in Orlando for another night to recover. He is all stitched up on face, back neck near spine, and ear. He is a a brave & strong little boy. He's been on meds, and knows I’m here but can't talk. Thanks everyone for the prayers. God bless everyone.” said Graham.
We understand that not all of our readers are of the Christian faith. We also realize that everyone has a choice and a right as an American citizen to worship in any manner they choose or not to worship at all if they choose. We believe that this is a testimony to the awesome Grace of God. This is a shining light in an other wise dark world.
Thank you for praying for Braiden and all those that have need."
