One plus one will ultimately equal hundreds

TEXAS -- An anonymous tip called into the Dalhart Texan on Friday, February 1, led to the discovery of a dog tied at Arroyo’s new residence on 6th Street.

A ruling on Monday, January 28 returned Arroyo’s mustang to her custody. Her actions with the filly lit up phones and social media all over a two county area, calling for justice and care of the malnourished and abused equine.

The community as a whole has begun to police Arroyo’s activities with the animals she hoards.

Arroyo admitted to having an animal hoarding problem to KVII Channel 7 News in Amarillo following the removal of numerous animals from her home on Conlen Avenue last month.

The anonymous tip found an Australian Shepherd mix tied in the side yard of 1510 6th Street with no water. Also, there were several leashes hanging from the tree in Arroyo’s front yard.

The State of Texas requires that all domestic and farm animals have food, water and adequate shelter from heat and cold. Residents are now left wondering what animal will be Arroyos’ next in the newly started collection on 6th Street.
