LOUISIANA -- Two Pine Prairie men are in jail on charges they had sex with a dog.
Nathan Wells and Joshua Granger were booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on one count each of crimes against nature.
Investigators began looking into the matter after receiving tips from concerned citizens.
Detectives arrived at the home along with deputies from the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, where they interviewed the suspects. A few hours after receiving the tip, Nathan Wells and Joshua Granger of Pine Prairie were charged with committing crimes against nature, a felony punishable by up to five years in jail and up to $2,000 in fines.
Both men signed and gave verbal and written confessions to the detectives and admitted videotaping their crimes and sharing the tapes online. Police confiscated the men's computer and seized the dog, Nyla, who endured repeated sexual attacks by both men.
The dog, a Siberian-Husky mix, was turned over to the Humane Society of Louisiana while the men were in custody. Nyla was examined by experts at LSU Medical Center, who determined that Nyla did not suffer any internal injuries as a result of the attacks.
