Animal control investigates dog attack

CONNECTICUT --  Animal Control in Clinton is attempting to identify two dogs that attacked another dog early Monday morning.

The incident happened around 6 a.m., in the area of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Carter Hill Rd.

According to Clinton Animal Control, the complainant was walking her greyhound dog in the area when she heard a growl. Then her dog was attacked by a brown-colored pit bull wearing either a large red collar or bandana, and a smaller black-colored short hair mixed breed.

Animal control is investigating the incident.
