TENNESSEE -- According to reports, the owner of an apparently aggressive pit-bull was taken into custody recently.
It began with the dog turning up in a neighbor’s yard, which according to the woman, had happened several times before. The woman told officers that as she attempted to ‘shoo’ the dog from her East Heights Street property, it bared its teeth and growled while moving toward her in an aggressive manner.
An officer met the dog’s owner at his home, where he reported that the man became angry, clenched his fists and ordered the policeman off his property. The officer left to call for assistance, while the man continued to yell at him.
After back-up arrived on the scene, fifty-seven year old Michael Maurice Kelly was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct.
Kelly is set to face the charge in General Sessions Court next Thursday.
