The disturbing incident happened on the 13-thousand block of Shelton Blvd in Calallen. According to police, the wife of the dog's owner called authorities Saturday to report her husband had been sexually abusing his dog.
Animal control has taken custody of the dog as a precaution. Investigators will continue the investigation and determine if a warrant will be issued for the husband's arrest.
The man could face animal cruelty charges. He was not there when police and animal control showed up to the home today.
