An arrest warrant was issued after he failed to appear at an earlier hearing.
Aguilar, who appealed the conviction, was ordered to euthanize Dutch after the dog bit his brother's fiancee several times in November.
Aguilar was expected to turn Dutch over to animal control but has failed to do that.
Aguilar is scheduled to return to court June 6.
