Willie Duke came outside to survey storm damage about 7 a.m. and found two baby hawks under an 80-foot pine tree.
The mother hawk can be seen peering out of her nest at the top of the tree.
Duke thinks strong winds from last night's storms knocked the birds out their nest. He put the hawks in a shoe box and called animal control.
"I come out to check my trees and sure enough I had a mess and that's when I walked to the back yard and I heard them hollering with their mouth wide open," said Willie Duke.
Lee County Animal Control took the birds to Philema Animal Clinic. The vet will care for the hawks until they're able to fly.
