Evans say its the second time the dog has bitten a child in the past two months.
Robin Jaworski says she was visiting a friend's home on East Home Avenue in Hartsville Thursday when the dog ran across the yard and bit her three-year-old daughter.
"I was terrified and scared. I thought that the dog was going to kill my child."
Evans says the pit bull will be quarantined for 10 days at a facility.
He says he hopes a judge will deem it dangerous, so that the animal can be put down.
The pit bull bit another three-year-old in April.
The dog was allowed to stay with its owner, but it had to be quarantined for 10 days.
Evans says the dog wasn't deemed dangerous after the first incident because it was on its owner's property when it bit the child.
Jaworski says this time, she hopes it will be put down.
"That's why I want him to be put to sleep. This is two innocent children , both three years old and less than three months. I think he needs to be put down so we will never have to worry about this again," said Jaworski.
The owner of the pit bull, Tracey Beachman says her dog is loveable and friendly.
She says Thursday it got out of the house by mistake and only bit the child because it got scared after the little girl screamed.

Beachman says it was trying to get to a smaller dog when it bit the other three-year-old girl in April.

She goes on to say she hope animal control officials will not euthanize her dog because it's like her child and she considers it family.
It's up to a judge to decide what happens to the pit bull.We will let you know what happens.
