Police use Taser on pit bull after 2 injured in Price Hill attack

OHIO -- Police had to use a Taser on a pit bull after it apparently attacked two people in Price Hill.

The incident happened Thursday morning in the 900 block of Sunset Avenue, according to Cincinnati police officials.


 
Officials said one woman was taken to an area hospital with bites to her leg. A man was reported to have suffered a bite to his hand.


Police said they had to use a Taser on the dog multiple times until the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals arrived to take care of it.


The dog’s owner has not been found. Police said the owner could face a charge of failure to confine a dog.

No other details have been released.
