Dogs found tortured and buried

OKLAHOMA -- The THUG Task Force says they found much more than marijuana while serving a search warrant on Tuesday near Claremore.

Deputies say they went to serve a search warrant on 29-year-old Garrett Lee Bump.

What they found was several videos of dog fights. The dogs were severely wounded and bleeding.
A man and woman were both on the video.

The videos show the dogs being agitated by their handlers then released towards each other in a small room with the handlers yelling “Kill that mother (expletive). Kill him.”

The dogs would bite each other on the ears and throat until one dog would die or the handlers would separate once a winner was declared.

Deputies say one dog is pictured standing in a bathtub after the fight, bleeding from his neck and standing in a pool of blood.

The dog was later discovered by deputies buried in the back yard.

The videos show the suspect, Garrett Bump, stitching the dogs back up after the fights, without any anesthesia, using a needle and thread.

The dog, named tank, was featured on most of the videos.

At one point in the video, Bump turns to the camera and says, “Everyone in the dog fighting business knows my dog Tank Bump.”

The videos show multiple fights at multiple locations.

All of the videos were taken with personal cell phones.

One video showed the couple holding two small puppies on their hind legs and forcing them to fight each other.

The two puppies were found in a small crate inside the house, along with a white Pit-bull with severe fresh lacerations and bite marks on its head and neck.

Investigators also found a female dog in the back of the home just had a litter.

Deputies say the dog was just used for breeding because of her size.

Investigators found the body of the dog named Tank buried in the backyard.

Animal control was called and took the dogs from the property, including the one that was buried.
