OHIO -- A woman has been hospitalized after being attacked by two dogs on the East Side this afternoon.
Callers to Columbus police said a woman was bitten by at least two pit bulls outside 3306 Roswell Dr. just before 1 p.m., a dispatcher said.
The woman was bleeding and climbed into a van in an attempt to get away from the dogs, but couldn’t close the door because of her injuries, callers said.
The Columbus fire medic that responded couldn’t get to the woman at first because of the dogs. Animal control was called.
The woman was brought to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in stable condition, according to the dispatcher.
