Police Chief insists ‘Rowdy’ the Dachshund was not kicked, but broke its own jaw by biting officer’s boot
WASHINGTON -- A dachshund that belonged to a Chehalis man arrested Friday evening for suspicion of drunken driving was put down Monday morning after sustaining injuries from a confrontation with a Chehalis police officer.
The dog’s owner, Bruce P. Beauregard, was arrested on the evening of Aug. 16 for suspicion of driving under the influence in Chehalis, according to the police report.
