Cleveland Animal Control Officer arrested for drunken driving crash while on duty

OHIO -- A Cleveland Animal Control Officer was arrested and charged with drunken driving after he was involved in an on-duty car crash Saturday, the city said.

William Flynn was placed on unpaid administrative leave from his part-time position at the office after his OVI arrest.

The crash happened at about 6 p.m. at E. 55th Street and Grand Avenue. Flynn sustained minor injuries, and the vehicle sustained minor damage.

Cleveland City officials have not released further information about the incident.
