Emaciated Poodle Clings to Life

DELAWARE -- The Delaware SPCA seized Cuddles from his owner in an extremely shocking condition. Severely matted, emaciated, dehydrated and unable to walk, Cuddles was clinging to life.

Thanks to intervention by our Humane Law Enforcement division, Cuddles is getting a second chance. Cuddles is currently in the ICU at Windcrest Animal Hospital getting lifesaving treatment.

Our Second Chance Fund provides emergency medical care for seriously ill and injured animals.

Through this fund, we can provide life-saving medical treatment for animals, like Cuddles, who would have once been considered untreatable by many shelters because of the extraordinary cost involved.
