FLORIDA -- U.S. Marshals are on the hunt for a woman who allegedly attacked and dragged her neighbor by the hair because she called Animal Control on her.
Christina Putman, 27, is wanted for aggravated battery. The victim told only WPBF 25 News' John Dzenitis on Thursday that she called Animal Control because her neighbor had too many animals.
Hours after calling, the woman said she was sitting and watching television in her screened-in back porch when Putman broke in and dragged her out by her hair.
"(Putman) dragged me by the ponytail all the way across my yard to pretty much the fence line," Desiree Arquilla said. "Who snaps like that? We’ve never had any fights before."
Police said that when officers arrived, Putman refused to open the door and demanded a search warrant. When officers returned with an arrest warrant, Putman was gone. Her husband said he doesn’t know where his wife is.
"I haven’t talked to her" A.J. Putman told Dzenitis. "She won’t pick up her phone or nothin’. She contacted an attorney. That’s all I know."
Putman was still on probation for a November 2013 battery arrest in Palm Beach County. One of the conditions of her probation was to take anger management classes.
