Better the owner than some poor kid...

WASHINGTON -- A 64-year-old woman was seriously injured Thursday morning when she tried to break up a fight between her two pit bulls, according to Clark County Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Dawdy.

Does he seriously think that skinny leash and his grip on the gripper will
stop it if it goes crazy and starts attacking again? Um... yeah.

Firefighters from the agency responded to the residence, 37404 N.W. 31st Ave., northwest of La Center, for the dog bite reported at 10:24 a.m.

First responders arrived and found the woman suffering from serious injuries from being bitten on her arm by at least one dog, Dawdy said. Her injuries were described as not life threatening.

The firefighter with the axe "at ready" is the one I'd be standing
next to while this idiot uses a skinny leash on this pit bull.
If this dog suddenly went berserk, what's gonna happen?

American Medical Response transported the woman to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.

The dogs were surrendered to Clark County Animal Control where they will be quarantined, Dawdy said.

Clark County sheriff’s deputies also responded.
