KENTUCKY -- An Elizabethtown man is facing charges after police said he put razor blades in meat in his backyard, causing the death of his neighbor's dog.
Elizabethtown police said 60-year-old Robert Hamme place the meat in his yard, which the dog ate.
Police said the victim saw their dog choking on the meat and found two more pieces of meat with metal objects in them in Hamme's yard.
According to police, Hamme admitted to placing the tainted meat along the back fence at his home when police questioned him over the matter.
Police said Hamme told them he was mad and frustrated at the neighbors over their barking dogs.
Hamme was arrested and charged with two counts of animal torture; one a Class A misdemeanor for physical injury and the other a Class D felony since the dog died as a result of the torture.
The investigation continues.
