Man arrested for soliciting animal sex

MISSOURI -- A Camden County man has been arrested for soliciting an undercover deputy to provide an animal for him to have sex.

According to the Boone County Sheriff's Department Cyber Crimes Task Force, 56-year-old Jerald Lee Hill of Roach, Mo., placed an ad on Craigslist indicating that he wanted to perform a lewd act with a dog.

The investigator exchanged several emails with Hill, who solicited the decoy to provide a dog so that Hill could travel to Columbia to perform sexual acts with it.

Lee arrived in Columbia and met with the decoy at Cosmo Park, where he was arrested shortly after 11:30 Tuesday morning.

Lee was arrested on suspicion of attempted unlawful sex with an animal and attempted animal abuse. Bond was set at $1,000.
